Hold your frame, whisper your name

Is it just me or does anyone else have a severe case of cabin fever!!  I feel like i haven't properly left the house for days.

It was such a sunny day i thought i'd venture out, do a little shopping and take my camera with me to take some pretty pictures...

I dream about living in this development- which i pass on my dog walks- in fact its only a stones throw away from my house.  It was the old work house years ago and now offers both houses and apartments.
I love the peacefulness of this place, the character, ornate lampposts and the pretty view- well i can dream cant i :)

A few pretty things from dunelm:

Cherry blossom scent sachets for my wardrobe and car which smell amazing and the cutest birthday card to store away.

Ive never smelt Dorma products before but this candle reminds me of spring and i love it, so naturally i purchased the room spray too :)

Anyone else with a bout of cabin fever?  I felt like the sunshine was going to scold me today :/

Christmas markets of 2012...

So after years of never getting around to visiting a Christmas market, this year i outdid myself and managed to visit two- Manchester and Lincoln.  Lincoln is a quick 1hr trip from where i live but Manchester is a good three hours away and we made the most of the trip by staying with old friends :)

I have to say Lincoln is one of the prettiest places I've visited- i wanted to live in practically every house i saw.

 This shop was amazing- i purchased this bath bomb which is scented with Chanel and left my skin smelling divine for hours!

I loved how festive the markets made me feel but the lack of imagination and diversity behind the gifts left me a little underwhelmed.  I enjoyed the yummy food though, which if im honest is all these markets are worth visiting for.  Did you visit any markets this year- any recommendations for next year?

Three things...

So this week has involved some excercise-see aboves hike around Hinchinbrooke park and a whole lot of scoffing!!  Im assuming im in hibernation mode :/- well thats my excuse anyway!

Carrots always appear more appealing with stalks on right?

Completely underwhelming....

I expected so much from this product seeing as I am obsesssed with the body butter version.

The body shops coconut beauty oil just didn't do it for me! The scent just doesn't match up to the butters and it deffinatly not as strong-in fact I've not had one comment since wearing it-when I smother the butter on me I can't stop people asking what "perfume" I'm wearing lol!

All in all I would rather stick with what the body shop does best-body butters!! In fact I find them more nourishing too!!

Anyone else tried this product-thoughts??

Ive been feeling a lot more creative as of late- which has lead me to get all of my beautiful papers out that ive had stored for yonks!!!  Im going to Alexandra Palace to a craft and stamping event in a few weeks so no doubt ill be stocking up :)

The worrying thought is that ill soon be stamping christmas gift tags :/

This week ive been feeling incredibly down- i dont know whether its weather induced as September seems to be the month every year for me that i feel this way :(  I need some sunshine to snap me out of it!!  Oh well ikea trip to look forward to tomorrow :)

Ive had a really productive weekend- really appreciated the bank holiday- just to get things done!!  I have worked on my website for my jewellery and completely blitzed the house- shattered!!

After the yummy soup ive decided i must make a batch up myself- yummy and healthy- hmmm well without the lashings of parmesan :)

Current favourite lip combo

Whilst the wind is at a minimum I'm making the most of loving my lip gloss!!  I have been mixing Mac's Creme cup and Jelly pong pong's lip frosting for this pretty everyday lip colour.

I must say the lip gloss is one of the very few things i actually really like from Glossybox!

So as im typing this its a mere 15 degrees outside- a far cry from last weekend's weather :(

This weekend will involving less doing and more chilling- partly due to my bank balance not looking all that healthy as pay day is just around the corner!

Common Lane....

I think the only excercise i actually enjoy is walking my dog.  Ive found the key to me losing weight is to enjoy the excercise i do!  What makes it more enjoyable is Common Lane.

Its about a five minute drive from my house and i take my dog there and walk along the rows of amazing houses.  Each house is completely unique and they are certainly anything but common!  My favourite is the pink house :)

Although i love walking here- it does make me slightly depressed and question "just how do people get this rich?"
